Orhan Holding 20th International Photography
Contest, held this year with the theme ‘Advancing Together’, was held
in three different categories: Colour, Monochrome and Experimental. 1347
photographers from 47 countries, from Germany to India, from Chile to Vietnam,
from Myanmar to Greece, from Azerbaijan to Hungary, participated in the
competition with a total of 4767 works. The jury of the 20th Orhan Holding International
Photography Contest, which convened on 16 November 2024, consisted of Necla
ORHAN, Ayşen KÜÇÜKA, Muhsin AYDIN, Timurtaş ONAN, Cengiz KARLIOVA, Laleper
AYTEK, Selda Selman ACAR, Merih AKOĞUL and Dr. Yoong Wah Alex WONG. The jury
meticulously evaluated 60 of the works and found them worthy of awards and
exhibitions.
Organised for 26 years to develop the art of
photography and photography, the contest has attracted more than 8,000
photographic artists. The contest, which has been awarded a gold plaque by the
FIAP, is closely followed by photographic artists all over the world. At the
ceremony, Necla Orhan was presented with the award for her support and
contributions to the art of photography by the board of directors of TFSF.
Orhan Holding 20th International Photography Award Ceremony was
held on 7 December 2024 at the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was
attended by Ambassador of Bangladesh Amanul HAQ, Consul General of Russia
Andrey BURAVOV, Honorary Consul of Italy Oya İZMİRLİ, Cultural Attaché of Iran
Hasan DİBDAN, Mayor of Yenişehir Ercan ÖZEL and representatives of public,
business world and non-governmental organizations.
The award-winning photographs will be presented to the taste of
photography lovers at the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 7-13 December
2024 and at Ninecim Art House on 14 December 2024-2 January 2025.
