The 18th International Photography Arena ... Silver Plaque
Recognized with a silver plaque by the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), awarded the Third Star by the Turkish Federation of Photographic Art (TFSF), the awards ceremony of Orhan Holding International Photography Contest 2022 will be at Ninecim Art House on Saturday, December 17th.
Over the past 24 years, this contest has garnered international acclaim for 18 years in promoting the advancement of photographic art and photography, drawing nearly 6,500 photographers from across the globe.
The theme 'Happiness' has been selected for the 19th Orhan Holding International Photography Contest. The contest was held in three categories: Color, Black and White, and Experimental. The jury of the 18th Orhan Holding International Photography Contest, which attracted a total of 6,477 photographs from 883 photographers representing 46 countries from India to Vietnam, Bangladesh, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Hungary convened on Saturday, November 12, 2022. The jury, consisting of Ercan Arslan, Engin Özendes, Ali Balkı, Bahadır Öztuna, Zeynep Diniz, Ayşegül Orhan, Necla Orhan, and Ayşen Küçüka, awarded prizes to 45 artworks and selected 29 others for exhibition.
Supported by TFSF and FIAP, the contest has seen over 6,500 artists participate since its inception twenty-four years ago. The contest, awarded the 'Silver Plaque' by FIAP, is closely followed by photographers worldwide.
The award-winning photographs will be on display, kicking off at Ninecim Art House Central Balat Nilüfer December 17-26, 2022 (Opening and Exhibition), followed by Tayyare Cultural Center Cemal Nadir Exhibition Hall from December 26 to December 31, 2022, and BUFSAD Exhibition Hall from January 1 to January 31, 2023, and Nilüfer Municipality Konak Cultural Center exhibition hall from February 9 to February 22, 2023, and Tahirpaşa Mansion in Mudanya from February 23 to March 6, 2023, Yenişehir Municipality Matay Sports Facility from March 10 to March 30, 2023 before concluding at İFSAK Istanbul Exhibition Hall from April 1 to April 20, 2023.
